Our fender range protects your hull from knocks alongside the pontoon, in a lock, or rafted up to another boat – cylindrical and round fenders in a range of sizes, plus fender covers, sized to match your boat’s length and freeboard.

Fender size is set by boat length, not preference: a common rule of thumb is one fender per 3m of hull length plus one, with diameter and length scaled up for bigger, heavier boats. Cylindrical fenders are the standard choice for most leisure boats and lie flat against a straight hull; round fenders suit boats with more curved topsides or tight, awkward berths like rafting between two other boats, where a cylindrical fender can roll out of position. Hang fenders so they sit at the waterline where the hull will actually contact the pontoon or neighbouring boat, not at deck height.

A fender cover protects the fender itself from chafe and UV and stops it marking a freshly painted topside – worth adding if you’re leaving fenders rigged for the season rather than stowing them after each trip.
