Our Drysuits range covers fully waterproof suits with sealed neck, wrist and (on most models) ankle seals, keeping you completely dry rather than just insulated – the choice for cold-water sailing, dinghy racing and watersports where immersion is a real possibility.

A drysuit keeps water out entirely via its seals, so warmth comes from what you wear underneath rather than the suit itself – you’ll need a thermal base layer suited to the water temperature, not the air temperature, since a drysuit in cold water with poor underlayers still leaves you cold. This is a different job to a wetsuit, which lets in a thin layer of water that your body warms: see our Wetsuits category if that’s a better fit for your activity. Check neck and wrist seal condition each season, since latex and neoprene seals perish over time and a failed seal defeats the point of the suit.

Get the fit right, particularly through the shoulders and crotch, as an ill-fitting drysuit restricts movement more than most people expect.
