Clothing

Our Clothing range covers everything to wear on and around the water: technical sailing and offshore outerwear, leisure footwear, thermals and rashvests, workwear for commercial use, and accessories like hats, gloves and bags.

The right clothing depends on what you’re actually doing on the water: Technical Outerwear (jackets, salopettes, drysuits and wetsuits) is built for sailing and watersports performance, while Workwear is a separate, tougher range built for commercial fishing, aquaculture and farm work rather than leisure sailing. Thermals & Rashvests provide the base-layer warmth or sun protection worn underneath either range, and Leisure Footwear covers deck shoes and casual boots for everyday wear on and off the boat rather than technical sailing boots. Layering is the general principle across all of it: a base layer, insulating mid layer and waterproof outer shell perform better together than one heavy piece, letting you adjust as conditions change through the day – genuinely useful given how quickly Irish weather can turn.

Frequently asked questions

What’s the difference between Technical Outerwear and Workwear?

Technical Outerwear is built for sailing and watersports performance; Workwear is a tougher, separate range built for commercial fishing, aquaculture and farm work.

Do I need thermals under my sailing jacket?

In most Irish conditions, yes – a thermal base layer adds warmth and manages moisture under a waterproof shell, and is worth having even under lighter jackets.

What’s the difference between leisure footwear and technical sailing boots?

Leisure footwear (deck shoes, casual boots) suits everyday wear on and off the boat; technical sailing boots within Technical Outerwear are built more specifically for wet-deck grip and performance.
