The Optiflex-Lite sets out to do the same job as a solid trolley wheel while keeping the weight down, which is the difference between a trolley one child can manage and one that needs an adult. At 1750 grams it is noticeably lighter than most 37 cm wheels, and being puncture-proof it will not be flat after a spell in the dinghy park. The 37 cm diameter still rolls over soft sand and loose stone rather than sinking into it. It takes the same 25 x 75 mm axle as the rest of the Optiparts trolley range, so it can be swapped in without changing anything else on the trolley.
