International Liquid Rubbing is a marine-rated polishing compound designed to restore gloss on gelcoat and painted surfaces after a season of salt spray, rain and UV—common when sailing in Ireland.
It’s easy to use by hand for spot work, or by machine (800–1000 rpm) when you want to tackle bigger areas efficiently.
Because it contains no wax or silicone, it’s an excellent first stage in a proper topside refresh: polish to remove light oxidation and scratches, then follow with a dedicated marine wax for longer-lasting protection.
