3M boat wax is a liquid carnauba wax that gives gelcoat, paint, fibreglass and metal a high-gloss, durable finish as the last step of a polishing job.

3M boat wax is the final step in the Perfect-It gelcoat system, a liquid carnauba wax that leaves a high-gloss finish and protects gelcoat, paint, fibreglass and metal. Apply it to a clean, cool surface in small sections, working by hand with a microfibre cloth or by machine with a buffing pad, and wipe off the excess before it hazes. Because it is easy to apply and clean up, it suits a spring fit-out when the whole hull needs doing in a weekend. Salt, sun and wind off the Atlantic dull a hull quickly, so a durable wax coat earns its keep on Irish coastal waters. Keep it off vinyl and rubber trim.
