Flatlock seams keep the bulk down so it slides under a smock or offshore jacket without bunching at the shoulders, while zipped hand pockets hold a phone or a set of keys ashore. The chin guard stops the zip pull rubbing when it is done up to the top. For coastal cruising in Ireland it earns its place from March through to November, on the boat and off it.
