Epifanes Rubbed Effect Varnish is a one-component urethane alkyd varnish that gives interior woodwork a hard, clear amber satin finish.

Epifanes Rubbed Effect Varnish is the satin topcoat for the inside of the boat, giving cabin soles, doors, trim and joinery the soft sheen of a rubbed finish. It goes on over several build-up coats of Epifanes high-gloss varnish and dries to a hard film that resists scratches, scuffs, alcohol and household chemicals. Because it is a one-component product, there is nothing to mix, and it can also maintain an intact one- or two-component interior varnish system of any brand. It is for interior use only, so keep a gloss varnish for exterior brightwork. A yacht used year-round on the Irish coast sees plenty of wear below deck, so a tough satin finish earns its place.
