This Allen A.323 dinghy drain bung is a straightforward replacement for the screw-in socket bung fitted to the transom of most RS-class boats. The socket mounts with two fixings 38mm apart and takes a 3mm fixing screw, while the bung itself seals a 24mm outside diameter hole to keep water out of the cockpit when ashore or between drains afloat. At just 11g it adds no meaningful weight, and the grey finish matches the moulded fittings on most RS hulls. It suits sailing clubs and RS owners around Ireland replacing a lost or perished original bung, though it is worth double-checking fit before ordering, as the RS Aero uses a different transom fitting entirely.
