The RWO R2066 drain bung and socket replaces a worn or missing transom drain on a dinghy, sealing the hull while afloat and letting it empty once the boat is ashore. Its socket sits in a 22mm cut-out on 36mm fixing centres, so it drops straight into most existing RWO drain apertures. Because the bung carries captive retaining legs, it stays with the socket when unscrewed rather than disappearing into the bilge or over the side. Bed the socket on sealant at fitting, since a dinghy left on a west-coast slip through an Irish winter will find any gap around the fixings. Class sailors on Toppers, Lasers and RS600s tend to keep a spare set in the kit bag.
