Because it is sold per metre, you can order exactly the length you need for a swinging mooring, an anchor rode or a chain snubber, choosing from six sizes between 6mm and 19mm. Each size is matched to a maximum shackle size and Blue Pin mooring shackle rating, so the chain and its connecting hardware can be sized together with confidence. Manufactured to the DIN766 standard, it holds up well to the year-round exposure typical of Irish coastal waters and Atlantic moorings. As the chain is heavy, orders for larger quantities may need a recalculated shipping cost rather than standard courier delivery.
