Crewsaver Evolution 250N Manual Lifejacket with Light, Orange – Hybrid Foam & Gas Working Lifejacket

A hybrid 250N manual lifejacket combining permanent foam buoyancy with a gas inflation chamber, built for crew working where immersion is likely.

  • Hybrid buoyancy: 60N inherent foam plus 190N quick-turn inflation chamber
  • Approved to ISO 12402-3: 2006 + A1:2010
  • UML manual operating head — the wearer fires the cylinder by hand
  • Ready-buoyed on 60N of foam before the chamber is inflated
  • Single-chamber jacket using a 38g CO2 cylinder
  • Cylinder removable from the jacket for service and repair
  • Supplied with a SOLAS-approved CSL lifejacket light
  • Inflatable chin support and front oral inflation tube
  • Whistle and reflective tape fitted as standard
  • Dual lifting beckets and rear haulage handle
  • Dual crotch straps with back stowage pocket
  • Heavy-gauge YKK quick-burst zipped chamber cover
  • Dual front cargo pocket and knife sheath pocket
  • Open side panels, front zip, waist belt and secured front buckle
  • High-visibility orange cover; universal adult size

The Crewsaver Evolution 250N manual lifejacket is a waistcoat-style working jacket for anyone who expects to end up in the water rather than merely fearing it. Because 60N of closed-cell foam is built into the jacket, the wearer can enter and work in the water already buoyed, then fire the 190N chamber by hand if conditions change. Open side panels promote air circulation through a long shift, while forward pull adjustment and the lower security belt stop the jacket riding up. The impact-protective cover, dual lifting beckets and rear haulage handle suit aquaculture crews, workboat hands and rescue teams around Galway Bay and the wider Irish coast, and the SOLAS-approved light, whistle and reflective tape help locate a casualty in poor Atlantic visibility. Servicing follows Crewsaver’s schedule, and the 38g cylinder lifts out for inspection.
