High-coverage marine undercoat for one-pack topsides and deck paints above the waterline
- Updated International formulation: Pre-Kote (One Up) single-pack primer/undercoat for use above the waterline
- Designed for use with International one-pack finishes and deck paints, including Toplac and Interdeck-style topcoats
- Acts as both primer and undercoat, replacing traditional Yacht Primer and classic Pre-Kote while maintaining adhesion and protection
- Suitable areas above the waterline: hull, bilges/lockers, exterior cabin and trims, interior cabin and trims
- Compatible substrates: aluminium/zinc-galvanised steel, epoxy composite/carbon fibre, cast iron, GRP/FRP, lead, steel and wood
- Single-pack system that’s easy to apply by brush or roller with an extra-smooth, easy-to-sand finish
- Excellent opacity for clean colour changes and a uniform base under topside enamels and deck paints
- Practical coverage of approx. 9 m² per litre by brush or roller (depending on surface and conditions)
- Typical use: 2–4 coats above the waterline for long-lasting protection and a high-quality cosmetic finish
- Touch dry in around 3 hours at 15°C and sandable after approximately 18 hours (check full technical datasheet for detailed cure times)
- Matt finish provides an ideal key for subsequent one-pack topcoats
- Available colours: White and Blue Grey for easy matching with standard International systems
- Pack sizes stocked by Galway Maritime: 0.75 L and 2.5 L tins – ideal for everything from small touch-ups to full hull resprays
