Grunt Boat Cleaner – Effortless Hull Cleaning Solution in Ireland
Directions for Use:
Shake well before use.
- Preparation: Pour Grunt Boat Cleaner into a clean, dry container. Ensure the container is free of moisture to maintain the cleaner’s full strength. Its gel consistency is specially designed for easy application on vertical surfaces and overhead areas on your vessel.
- Application: Apply Grunt Boat Cleaner with a small brush for targeted areas or a larger brush for widespread stains on the hull. To avoid uneven cleaning, treat the entire affected area to achieve consistent results.
- Surface Preparation: Clean the surface of old wax or polish with a standard boat wash prior to application to allow the cleaner to fully penetrate and work effectively.
- Wait and Rinse: Let the cleaner sit for 3-4 minutes, or longer in colder climates or for more persistent stains, before rinsing off with a sponge and clean water. The cleaner operates by chemical reaction, so give it adequate time to neutralize stains. Re-wet the surface if it begins to dry in the sun.
- Stubborn Stains: For persistent stains, a second application may be necessary. Allow it to sit for an extended period before rinsing. After cleaning, protect your boat’s surface with a marine-grade carnauba wax to prevent future staining.
Grunt Boat Cleaner is safe for use on fiberglass and is compatible with most two-part paint systems for timber and steel boats. For best practice, test on an inconspicuous area first.
Always wear protective gear, like gloves and goggles, when handling this marine cleaning product.
