The Garmin NMEA 2000 Backbone/Drop Cable is used to extend or build an onboard NMEA 2000 network, helping marine electronics communicate reliably across your vessel. It is ideal for linking compatible chartplotters, sensors, instruments, autopilot components and other networked devices on sailing boats, motorboats and RIBs. With 2m, 4m, 6m and 10m options available, it allows Irish boat owners to choose the right cable length for compact console installations or longer backbone runs. A practical choice for marine electronics upgrades, refits and network expansion when boating or sailing in Ireland’s coastal conditions.
