The Blue Sea MaxiBus 250A Bus Bar gives a tidy, high-capacity way to consolidate positive or negative connections from one point, rather than stacking several wires onto a single battery terminal. Its twelve #10-24 screw terminals and two 5/16″ stud terminals accept a wide mix of cable sizes, while the tin-plated copper bus keeps resistance low under continuous load. Because the studs are insert-moulded into the UL 94-V0 base, there is no separate nut to work loose in a seaway, and the recessed mounting holes stop the bus shorting against an aluminium or steel panel. It is a practical upgrade for anyone tidying up a tangled battery terminal on a cruising yacht or workboat around the Irish coast.
