The Seldén Valley Fairlead (211 Mk2) AL is a compact aluminium fairlead for managing small control lines on deck, accepting 1–6 mm rope and mounting with two M4 fasteners. It prevents rope burn on frequently adjusted trim lines and is light enough for dinghies and lightweight keelboat installations while still robust for coastal cruising around Ireland. For sailing in Irish conditions — frequent gusts and salty spray on the Irish Sea — fit with appropriate stainless fasteners and sealant to secure a long service life; the aluminium body gives good abrasion resistance where polyamide alternatives may wear faster. This is sold as a single fairlead (fixings not included) and is commonly used for cunninghams, outhauls and other trimming applications.
Fit & installation: countersunk M4 screws recommended; use stainless screws and bedding compound for external deck fitment in the Irish Sea. Sold: single unit (no screws).
